STAMPED FLOORS

What is Stamped Floor?

With the technique of stamping flooring we have the ability to form concrete surfaces in a way that resembles structures made of stone, brick, tile, wood, etc. We can make various shapes and techniques on the surface at less cost than the original materials but with reliable and robust construction. In recent years, more and more individuals and public institutions have been more and more preferred to form exterior spaces such as courtyards, parking areas, squares, pavements, etc.

APPLICATION

1. SUBSTRATE

The existence of a strong and sound substrate is essential, especially when the floor is expected to receive large loads.

If it does not exist, it is advisable to create a layer of crushed material and pebbles and then a final layer with compressed 3A

2.STRENGTHENING GRID

A T131 structural reinforcement mesh is used to reinforce the concrete

3.REINFORCED CONCRETE

C20/25 concrete reinforced with polypropylene fibers for increased mechanical strength in thickness 10 cm

4.SURFACE PROCESSING

On top of fresh concrete, the selected pattern is printed with silicone stamps. The next day is done with appropriate chemical preparations The result is a smooth hard and durable surface with the selected pattern in various shapes.

Then, cuts are made every 25 m2 and filling with a suitable elastomeric material (usually polyurethane mastic) and final varnish coating.

5. ADVANTAGES

Stamped floors

1. They are economical compared to corresponding constructions

2. They are resistant to weather and mechanical stress and chemical attack

3.Do not require maintenance

4. They have a short construction time
