GREEN ROOFF SYSTEMS

Technical description of green roof system

Why build a green roof system?

To save energy by increasing the thermal insulation capacity of the roof and the shading and transpiration of the

plants.

To reduce noise pollution, freeze pollutants and improve microclimate For the use of the space, the aesthetic

upgrading and consequently the increase in the value of the building

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION OF GREEN ROOF SYSTEM

A. Substrate preparation

1 Cleaning of the surface from oil, loose materials, etc. and normalizing it

B. Thermal insulation

2. Creating a water vapor barrier with two-layer asphalt emulsion. -

3. Creation of thermal insulation layer with extruded polystyrene or stonewool slabs.

C. Creating low-slope roof tilts

4 Creating low-slope roof tilts for water draining

D. Waterproofing

5 Laying bituminous solution. Apply with brush or roller.

6 The total adhesion of bituminous membrane to two coats. The combination of the specific composition of the

mixture, the polyester reinforcement and the coating-specific, effectively prevents the penetration of the roots into

the membrane and consequently the underlying building materials and gives it the required mechanical and

chemical resistance.

7 Installing a geo-composite filter or geotextile and gravel for drainage.

8 Placement of horticultural soil
